Located near Yellow Pole Road and Follet Road, this large through girder bridge is the 11th crossing of Mosquito Creek.
Built in 1934, it is likely that this span replaced an older truss bridge. Currently, the bridge consists of a single through girder span, set onto stone piers, and approached by modular concrete spans the west side. The approaches were built in 2020, to replace severely deteriorated concrete slab spans, shown in the documentation above. Those spans were built in 1909.
It appears that the early 1930s were a time of rebuilding along this route, and many bridges were replaced. It does appear that the slabs may date to approximately 1915.
Overall, the bridge appeared to be in fair condition before the rehabilitation in 2020.
The author has ranked this bridge as being locally significant, due to the common design.
